Mission Statement
The Transportation Committee of APWA's Washington Chapter has the following goals (

- To ensure that the full membership of the Washington Chapter has easy access to current information on transportation issues
- To provide input to elected officials, civic groups, and others with an interest in APWA's perspective on transportation issues in the State
- To raise public awareness of the positive contributions of transportation professionals in the State of Washington
- To advocate for legislation, policies, and practices that will lead to transportation systems that are more effective, more efficient, and more environmentally sustainable
- To share knowledge through discussions of lessons learned and project examples
