Mission Statement

The Construction Management Committee is a dedicated group of public works and private industry professionals dedicated to improve the delivery of public works projects.

The three primary focus points of the Construction Management Committee are:
  • Education: Presentation of new Construction Management practices, inspector training, technical seminars, project "lessons learned", industry surveys, and other learning experiences.
  • Communication: Meetings to share experiences, sources of information, and professional networking.
  • Program Development: Provide assistance in the promotion and development of good Construction Management practices via program development for APWA conferences. Past programs include legal considerations, partnering, contracting practices, utility coordination, and other issues.
If you would like to join the Construction Management Committee or be added to the email distribution list, please contact either of the two co-chairs.
